Avoid direct sunlight, swimming pools, hot tubs, and saunas until your tattoo is fully healed. Don’t pick at scabs or scratch the area, as this can damage the tattoo. Also, steer clear of tight clothing that could rub against the tattoo and irritate the skin.

Yes, there are a few. For your safety, avoid getting tattooed if you're sick, pregnant, or nursing. If you’re on medications or have health conditions, let me know so I can assess any potential risks. Also, plan your tattoo around major events where healing time might be a factor.

I book full-day sessions, and a typical full day runs 7 to 9 hours. Most large pieces take more than one session. I’ll give you a session count during our consultation.

I charge by the piece, not by the hour, so there is no hourly rate. A full day is $2,500, or $2,000 per day when you book several sessions, because I put large projects first. Each appointment needs a $500 non-refundable deposit that goes toward your tattoo.

Aftercare involves keeping your tattoo clean, moisturized, and protected. I’ll provide you with detailed instructions tailored to your tattoo, but in general, avoid direct sunlight, swimming, or scratching the area while it heals. Follow these steps to ensure your tattoo heals beautifully.

To prepare, get a good night’s sleep, eat a healthy meal, and stay hydrated. Avoid alcohol or blood-thinning substances like aspirin 24 hours before your appointment. Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the area being tattooed, and bring anything that helps you stay relaxed, like headphones or snacks.

Tattoo pain varies depending on factors like placement, size, and your personal tolerance. While some areas of the body are more sensitive, most clients describe the sensation as uncomfortable rather than unbearable. My goal is to ensure you're as comfortable as possible throughout the process.

Choosing the right design starts with reflecting on what’s meaningful to you, whether it's a personal story, an aesthetic style, or a specific subject matter. Bring your ideas, references, or even a rough concept, and I'll work with you to create a design that matches your vision and resonates with your personality.
